Just a couple of days ago, I talked to a woman who works at the Greenwood Cultural Center, which lost 100% of its state funding two years ago for reasons I cannot fucking fathom, especially when the Tulsa Race Riot is such important history for us (it’s interesting to watch how WEIRD PEOPLE ARE ABOUT IT 90 years after the fact, but that’s a different story).
